Site News: New Links Area

Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 4:42 PM EST

This weekend we added for the first time ever, a Links section. Most web sites have them, we always focused our "links" on our franchises and field agents sites. We wanted to add a separate area for organizations we're associated with, official sites, and fan sites. If you're associated with a charaity that isn't listed by us, please tell us. We'll list the web sites and any upcoming events if we're able to promote them.

If you have a Ghostbusters web site which isn't listed and you would like your site to be linked on our site, the requirements can be found through our Links area.

Site & Event News: Merry Christmas

Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 5:04 PM EST

Or whichever holiday you celebrate this time of year. Annually Ghostbusters International® does two things sometime after Thanksgiving and before New Years Day. No, we don't try to stop Egon from making Twinkie® bread men. Although we really should.

The first is sprucing up the site for Christmas. We normally do this by decorating the header graphic. The "no ghost" logos are wearing their official Santa hats. Thanks Google! Yes, we did try to put a Happy New Years hat on one of the logos, but when reduced in size it didn't look right. It just looked like we were Ghostbusters International® in the 17th Century.

The second, more important thing we do is jump right in to the second busy season. Even though it took us a little over 2 weeks to promote it. What is the second busy season? Its a Public Relations opportunity. Sure you might be working on a case file, the idea is to get into any holiday spirit, (not in the spiritual sense) have fun, and take/make pictures while doing so. Could just be as simple as walking around a shopping center with a Santa hat on. You could actually promote with Big Red himself. His people will probably charge. =/ Or Perhaps after a long day at work, you can relax with friends, family, and coworkers at some holiday party. If you're going to be there anyway, we'd like to share in the fun.*

*All pictures should be submitted no later then January 5, 2007.

Event News: Merry Christmas

Posted By: Kris Kringle aka Santa Clause at 12:36 PM North Pole Time

Hello Ghostbusters International®! I'm relaxing after a long night of delivering all kinds of toys to the good boys and girls of the world, depending on their cultural beliefs. Before I get back to spending time with Mrs. Clause and finish putting my sleigh away for another year I wanted to deliver one final present. The elves couldn't exactly wrap it, I think you will all enjoy this special Christmas episode from The Real Ghostbusters.

Be good for goodness sake! Ho Ho Ho!

S. Clause
