Case File: Old Toy Factory Class: Full Magnitude Class 10 Warp Dimension: Unknown Trap Status: Due to its size and class, couldn't be contained. It was destroyed when Egon overloaded Ecto 2. KillerwattEpisode Number: 2
Case File: Stacy's Department Store Class: Unknown, however it was a major psychic disturbance. Trap Status: Textbook operation. In other words, all the ghosts were caught.
Case File: Power Plant Class: Unknown, however Killerwatt controlled all the "electric" ghosts. Trap Status: Once the generators were shut down, The Real Ghostbusters were able to trap Killerwatt. Mrs. Roger's Neighborhood Episode Number: 3
Case File: Haunted House Class: Unknown, however major psychic force. It made the P.K.E Meter explode! Ray also said the house had a mass trans migration. Unbelievable! Tobin's Spirit Guide: What is a dominant force of the underworld. Leader of a legion of demons. What's goal is to invade and conquer the living world. Trap Status: While The Real Ghostbusters did deal with a classic haunted house, they only caught two ghosts, which were outside the house. The way to trap the rest is by dealing with What!
Case File: What (Inside the firehouse) Class: Unknown, we know its up their! Trap Status: What and her, uh its bird were captured using two traps. Almost immediately the haunted house turned "inside out," going into the box from the haunted house. Which then exploded, destroying itself! Slimer, Come Home Episode Number: 4 Case File: Roaming poltergeists.
Class: Unknown. However, Egon said poltergeists can't hurt you. They also get weaker the further they're away from home. Unless they take in energy from another source. Trap Status: Unsuccessful, while trying to capture the poltergeists, a much larger poltergeist pulled in all the smaller poltergeists. Then they disappeared into the sewer.
Case File: Apartment building. Class: Unknown. The bigger poltergeist grew in power when he absorbed all the smaller ghosts, including Slimer! Trap Status: After The Real Ghostbusters rescued Slimer, they were able to trap all the ghosts. With so many ghosts in one trap, their was a possibility it could have overloaded. Fortunately Winston was able to put the trap into The Containment Unit before it was too late. Troll Bridge Episode Number: 5 Case File: Queensborough Bridge
Tobin's Spirit Guide: (Only reference to Trolls) Fabled dwarves living in caves or under bridges. They don't trust humans. They don't want anything to do with people or cities. Trap Status: Not necessary. The throwers might have turned the trolls into stone. Either that or made them bigger and angry. To prevent the fireflies from destroying the city, The Real Ghostbusters agreed to help the trolls find their missing troll friend. The Boogieman Cometh Episode Number: 6 Case File: Ghostly Gangster
Trap Status: A trap was open without Louie being confined by the streams. He tried to escape, only to be fired upon with the throwers. He was then successfully trapped.
Case File: Carter House Class: Class 7 repeating corporial entity. Tobin's Spirit Guide: "The Boogieman lives on children's fears. The more they're scared, the more he likes it." - Winston Trap Status: The Boogieman isn't a ghost. While the confinement streams can briefly hold The Boogieman, he can't be trapped. Further thought and research would be required.
Case File: Apartment 4 Rent Class: Class 7 repeating corporial entity. Trap Status: After entering The Boogieman's realm, The Real Ghostbusters were able to hook up the proton packs to the ghost bomb. With the packs set to overload it gave the bomb enough power to seal off The Boogieman's realm forever. Mr. Sandman, Dream Me a Dream Episode Number: 7
Case File: 248 West 16 Apt # 413 Trap Status: It wasn't a ghost, it wasn't even real! The Real Ghostbusters changed the polarity on the throwers. Once they fired at the "alien," it went up like a cloud of smoke.
Case File: NYC Streets Class: Unknown. The dreams were the work of a powerful Sandman who was using incredibly powerful sleep dust. Trap Status: Unsuccessful.
Case File: Firehouse Class: Unknown, a powerful Sandman. Trap Status: With the others under the spell of the Sandman, Winston and Janine (with minor help from Slimer) were able to fire at the Sandman, lowering him into a ghost trap. When Halloween Was Forever Episode Number: 8
Case File: Historic building. Class: Unknown. They appeared to be smaller ghosts, however they were harder to catch. Trap Status: It wasn't easy, but all the ghosts were trapped.
Case File: NYC Streets Class: Unknown. Egon said the PKE Meter was off the scale, must be a city wide manifestation. Trap Status: The Real Ghostbusters had been 'busting and catching ghosts all night. Ray said they hadn't even caught a 1/10th of them yet.
Case File: Samhaine Tobin's Spirit Guide: (probably paraphrased by Ray) "Halloween began as the feast of Samhaine. Samhaine was supposed to be a creature of night. Who no one could stop." Trap Status: Egon hooked up the proton pack's generator to these large portable lights. The light when pointed at Samhaine weakened him. Once he was strong, The Real Ghostbusters were able to fire at Samhaine and trap him. Once trapped all the other ghosts disappeared. Look Homeward, Ray Episode Number: 9
Case File: Pallo Mansion Class: Class 2 Mini Wraiths, regular scaredy spooks. Trap Status: Eventually successful. Ray was unsuccessful in trapping the mini wraiths by himself. He wasn't aware that a magic spell had been cast to make the two ghosts more powerful. When the rest of The Real Ghostbusters arrived to help, they were able to 'zap and trap' the mini wraiths because another spell had been cast, causing the wraiths to return to their normal selves. None of them knew that a spell book had been used again.
Case File: "Trash Ghost" in Morrisville, NY Class: I'd say a Class 5. Trap Status: Unnecessary, unless it had been planned. Either way it was ruined by Slimer. Egon had an idea to build Ray's confidence by setting up a fake ghost to bust by using Slimer to disguise itself as this "trash" ghost. Just when it seemed like Ray was ready to rejoin the guys, Slimer took off towards an ice cream truck. Figures!
Case File: Winged Puma at Morrisville's town parade. Class: Unknown. It is a mass of negative energy. Which came from the earlier spells. Trap Status: Once the polarity was reversed on the "beam throwers" (done by Ray) The Real Ghostbusters were able to fire at the Winged Puma from the air and pull it down into a trap that had been airborne itself! Take Two Episode Number: 10
Case File: City wide ghost busting using Ecto 1. Classes: Unknown Trap Status: With Ray driving, Winston was able to aim his thrower which had been outfitted with a special crosshairs device. Its used to accurately hit a target. Once the ghost was in his sights, Winston fired and this ghost was easily captured.
Case File: Movie Studio Class: It doesn't really apply. Trap Status: Unnecessary. While being shown around the "Ghostbusters" sets (and some other movie sets) which have been built to shoot Ghostbusters, The Real Ghostbusters come across what looks like a monster. Without thinking, they fire at it. The "monster" in question is a machine being used to film another movie. What no one realizes is that another ghost is about to make the robot its new home.
Case File: Sleeping Ghost at the Movie Studio Class: Unknown, Egon did get very high readings. Trap Status: Successful. Once Egon was able to get the sleeping ghost to trust them, it came out of the Megazoid, ready to be trapped. Unfortunately the loud mouth director interrupted. The Real Ghostbusters quickly fired at the sleeping ghost, opening the trap. I know its not the way they wanted to do it, the director and security left The Real Ghostbusters no other choice.
Case File: Unknown. Class: Unknown. Trap Status: Successful. On the way to the premeire of Ghostbusters, The Real Ghostbusters were late because they had caught 4 full torso vapors. Citizen Ghost Episode Number: 11
Case File: Gozer The Gozerian Class: Does the phrase 'More powerful then Gozer?' mean anything to you? Trap Status: Before this episode took place (at least on the cartoon side of...er things) the Ghostbusters had defeated Gozer and the traveller by crossing the streams. We know him better by the name Dr. Stantz thought of, The Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.
Case File: Slimer (before Ray gave him a name) Class: Class 5 Trap Status: Unnecessary in the end. The Real Ghostbusters were celebrating there first night back in the rebuilt firehouse with a Thanksgiving type dinner. Slimer showed up to take The Real Ghostbusters food away. Peter recognized "it' as the one who slimed him at the hotel during there first 'bust. The Real Ghostbusters rushed into action. Slimer, still unnamed at this point was able to dodge the proton beams and get away. Around the same time Slimer became useful and helpful. After what was to come, The Real Ghostbusters had a new roommate and friend.
Case File: Walking Uniforms Class: Unknown. They were already filled with ectoplasmic energy from The Real Ghostbusters battle with Gozer. They absorbed even more energy from The Containment Unit. Trap Status: Unsuccessful. The ghostly doubles of The Real Ghostbusters left the firehouse. The Real Ghostbusters went off to investigate the cause of the ghostly doubles.
Case File: Showdown at the OK Firehouse Class: Please refer to the above Class. Trap Status: Successful. While on a routine bust (not shown here) Peter ran into his ghostly double. Soon, the other ghostly doubles appeared. The Real Ghostbusters got back in Ecto-1 and went back to the firehouse to figure out how to stop the ghostly doubles. With the plan not quite complete, the ghostly doubles showed up. While The Real Ghostbusters were fighting the ghostly doubles with 1 half charged proton pack, they figured out that the more energy the ghostly doubles used, the weaker they would become. With help from Slimer, The Real Ghostbusters were able to get the charged packs, pull the ectoplasmic energy from the uniforms with the proton beams, and finally trap the ectoplasmic energy. Janine's Genie Episode Number: 12
Case File: Antiques Warehouse Class: Unknown. Trap Status: Successful. During the 'bust The Real Ghostbusters almost lost their hold on the ghosts. Janine was unsteady with her thrower. Since she was "training" to be a Real Ghostbuster. With help from Winston, Janine was able to steady her beam until Ray stepped on the trap pedal.
Case File: Vacation Gate-a-ways Class: Unknown. Egon did say their behavior didn't fit the normal patterns. Also the valence (reading) was fading fast. Trap Status: Unsuccessful. The ghosts that escaped the gateway (from inside the lamp) went to the airport. At the time The Real Ghostbusters didn't know it was the same ghosts. The ghosts made their way onto an airplane, taking off with it. By the time The Real Ghostbusters made their way to the front of the plane (led by "boss" Janine) the ghosts had escaped, jumping off the plane.
Case File: Home Sweet Gateway Class: Unknown. When Egon looked inside the firehouse using his ecto goggles, the PKE levels were at 100 : 9890. Trap Status: Successful. By combining the power of the portable ecto traps, The Real Ghostbusters were able to reverse the polarity of the lamp, turning it into one big ghost trap. Which in turn sent all the ghosts back to there world. X-Mas Marks the Spot Episode Number: 13
Case File: Back To The Christmases Class: Unknown. Egon picked up strong readings the first time. Followed by big, powerful readings the second time. Trap Status: Successful. Except at the time The Real Ghostbusters didn't know they had travelled back in time. By trapping "The Christmas Ghosts," they were changing the future. A future where Christmas would no longer exist!
Case File: Back To The Christmases Class: Unknown. Please see the above Class. Trap Status: Unnecessary in the end. Once The Real Ghostbusters realized what had happened, Egon found a way to go into the spirit world that exists inside The Containment Unit. In the meantime Peter, Ray, and Egon returned to the past to convince Scrooge to change his was. Once Egon and "The Christmas Ghosts" were back from The Containment Unit, they returned to the past as well. From there, the ghosts of past, present, and future were able to really convince Scrooge. Christmas as we know it was restored. The Real Ghostbusters were returned to the firehouse by The Ghost of Christmas Present.
