Site News: Ghostbusters Cartoons Update
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 2:18 PM EST
Season 1 of The Real Ghostbusters has returned. All 13 episodes have been replaced with the highest quality episodes from our archives. While we were updating the site, maskedshuuyu and atomic purple found more episodes from the semi-spin off, Slimer! series. We currently have 7 of the 30 episodes. However, we were told this part of the archives may always be incomplete since not every episode was archived. In which case its up to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to release the series on DVD for the much younger fans.

Media News: "Fort Collins Ghostbusters"
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 5:00 PM EST
The Rocky Mountain Chronicle in Fort Collins, CO not only wrote a positive article about ghostheads Kevin Henry and Austin Bernard, they gave them the cover. Along with Kevin's Ecto Outback! The article is a great read and the photos Rocky Mountain Chronicle added were nice as well.
Ghostbusters International® doesn't have any official franchise in Colorado. However if they were interested, we'd be happy to welcome Kevin and Austin into the club...er company. Either way we'll continue to follow any updates Kevin Henry provides.

Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 3:46 PM EST
88mph Studios who brought us the Legion series of comics is selling an Ecto 1 litograph. If you have been following the Legion hard cover saga, the Ecto 1 artwork, drawn by artist Alvaro Pardo Sanchez was (still is?) supposed to be apart of the covers for the book. The Ecto 1 featured in the litograph is one of two Ecto 1 drawings Mr. Sanchez drew. These are available now with no pre-order required.

Site News: Uniform Article Updated, Again
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 4:11 PM EST
One of the German ghostheads and hopeful franchise owner/field agent was looking originally for a US vendor who shipped internationally and accepted Pay Pal. After searching, he found the Army/Navy outfitter, Uncle Sam's. We added them to the costume article as a third company who ships outside the US.

Project News: Make Your Own Tobins
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 4:49 PM EST
Last July 17 while I was working on a major, (since stalled) site update, West Coast Busters CEO, Bryan Fear scanned an updated, out of print version of Tobin's Spirit Guide for us. Which is one of the greatest and most used reference materials by Ghostbusters International®. From that time forward CEOs and staff members could read and study Tobin's through our site, save a copy to their computers, or possibly print out the contents to read and go through off-line. Your copy most likely looks like the updated version of Tobin's we offer here.
Ever since July we wanted a more authentic copy like the real Tobin's Spirit Guides which are dwindling in numbers. With that idea in mind, West Coast Busters CEO, Bryan Fear took on this project this past January. As of today, his Tobin's How-To is available on our site.

Project News: Ecto 1 In Pine Derby
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 5:09 PM EST
Bryan Fear, friend and a franchise CEO has children in his life who were apart of a recent Pine Derby race. The two children, his girlfriend, and he all built their own Pine Derby race cars. Naturally Bryan went with an Ecto 1 theme. Who could blame him? We love the look and like the real deal his car is equipped for night time races.
...........
What's that look for? I know the races are indoors. If they were ever outdoors, he'd be prepared. You never studied.

Site News: Media Area Being Overhauled
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 9:35 PM EST
In previous updates we added more material to our Media area, better organizing it. Then at some point we changed it again for the worse. Um we just didn't know it at the time. As we added more material the whole section became completely cluttered. We've been wanting to over haul and update the media area ever since.
Yesterday evening we finally began this over haul. The main page of the Media area is a work in progress. New sections so far include personal pictures from the guys and behind the scenes photos from Ghostbusters. All previous media files are still up, just not currently linked.

Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 10:16 AM EDT
Much of yesterday was spent going through archive photos from when Sony (Columbia Pictures) was filming Ghostbusters II.
After cleaning up and resizing the 19 year old photos, we added 59 pictures to the new Behind The Scenes: Ghostbusters II section of the Media area.
We also added more pictures to the Behind The Scenes: Ghostbusters section.

Event News: WonderCon Recap
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 3:35 PM EDT
Towards the beginning of the month, Ernie Hudson was a guest at WonderCon. We don't know if a ghosthead gathering which can include franchise members took place. However, Ernie's appearance was enough to bring long time GBI member Dan Elektro out of hiding. ;) You can read about Dan's convention experience by checking out his blog. Including a part where he gave blood.

Event News: Holland's New Star Con Recap
Posted By: Richard Roy, Director Of Ghostbusting Ops. at 4:03 PM EDT
About a week ago, Ernie Hudson was in Rijswijk, Holland, a guest of Holland's New Star Con. Our Dutch Ghostbusters Society was in attendance, where they not only met up with Ernie, but were also apart of his Q&A. You can view the clip here.
Is that trap full? I don't remember Winston telling me he'd be in Holland. Must have been a business trip.
