Here we'll take a look at and learn about other real ghostbusting equipment that Egon and Ray invented.

Invention: Ghost Bomb

Featured Episode: The Boogieman Cometh

Before The Real Ghostbusters found out the Boogieman was hanging around in kid's closets Egon and/or Ray invented a Ghost Bomb. We're not sure how it would helped in catching ghosts. When facing the Boogieman, Egon hooked the Ghost Bomb up to the proton packs. Together, the explosion was enough to seal the doorway. Which prevents the Boogieman from coming into children's bedrooms.

Invention: Crosshairs Nutrona Wand

Featured Episode: Take Two

Compared to other real ghostbusting inventions, the Crosshairs Nutrona Wand is simple, yet effective. Its an add-on attachment for the nutrona wand. A + (cross) on the glass or plastic allows The Real Ghostbusters to line up their shot, getting the ghosts in the crosshairs. They can continue to focus on the ghosts, allowing for a more accurate shot.

Invention: Spectrum Differentializer

Winston wanted Egon and Ray to figure out what it is. Its possible Egon and Ray knew what the invention was suppose to do. We can assume since it didn't work twice, the invention still needs a lot of work.

Featured Episode: Citizen Ghost

Invention: A type of computer with additional equipment to study ghosts. When a ghost (Slimer) enters the room, the cone shaped, listening/detection device rotates towards Slimer. We're not exactly sure what Egon calls the equipment attached to the computer. It looks like it can take the vital (life) signs of ghosts. Interesting since as we would know it, ghosts have no life signs.

Featured Episode: Citizen Ghost

Invention: Containment Unit "Space" Suit. A space suit of sorts Egon invented so he could enter The Containment Unit to look for certain ghosts. It works by changing Egon's molecules, giving him certain properties of ghosts! When he returned from the ECU, Egon pressed a button, making his molecules normal again.
